Australian University Waterski and Wakeboard Championships
WHEN: 1st – 7th February 2010
WHERE: Max Kirwan Ski Park (Mulwala Twin Lakes, Mulwala, NSW) – interstate Unis are recommended to fly into Melbourne or Albury airport with transport to be arranged to the site by the AUWWCC committee.
The competition involves events for both male and female competitors across the four main disciplines of wakeboarding, slalom skiing, trick skiing and jump skiing.
"The championships run across five days and competitors are invited to socialise together each night to foster team spirit and encourage relationships between the clubs and states. A formal presentation night complete with
entertainment, dinner and refreshments will also be held on the final evening. This tournament attracts many state and national level waterskiers and wakeboarders who are currently studying at university as well as those who come
to give the sport a go for the first time. There are divisions for all abilities."
